BLUE EYES

Konstantin Bax has been inspiring a steadily growing international audience with his multi-layered and multi-dimensional paintings for over two decades.

At the center of his artworks is always the human being in search of inner transformation. His paintings explore the tension between dream and reality, between figuration and abstraction – often with a hypnotic effect. His expressive style, paired with a fine love of detail, draws the viewer into a deep, almost meditative dialogue. The visionary master Prof. Ernst Fuchs once described his works as “Windows to Infinity”.

Konstantin Bax has exhibited his works in cities such as Los Angeles, Denver, Hamburg, Munich, Berlin, Chiang Mai and Vienna. His coveted originals can be found in international private collections on several continents.

“Your art seems to be born before its time, very premature I would say. It is perhaps a portal to a universe where there is no limit to the imagination, or rather;
an imagination that knows well of limits and borders but knows with wisdom to surpass them in a sensual, aesthetic and extremely subtle way, aimed at an audience that appreciates the value of existence at an intuitive and spiritual level.

My most sincere congratulations, you have a gift in your interior superior to many artists and painters, in the artistic community of our generation and from our past.”

VITA

Konstantin Bax was born in Wiesbaden in 1979.

During his interior architecture studies, which he completed in 2006, Konstantin followed the call of adventure and spent a semester abroad in the experimental architecture commune Arcosanti in Arizona. Over the years, this unique place became his second home. The imposing landscape around the Grand Canyon became a deep source of inspiration – for his art as well as for his personal development.

As an assistant to the Viennese painter Prof. Ernst Fuchs, Konstantin Bax acquired the old masterly technique of glaze painting. This traditional method opened the door to an unmistakable style that aimed to carry the visionary art of the last century into the future.

He is living and working as a freelance artist in Hamburg since 2006.
